POS questions

Frequently asked questions about renting a POS

Do I need an internet connection all the time?
No. Offline mode keeps you selling during an outage and syncs to the cloud automatically when you're back online. QR payments and mobile reports do still need internet access.
Can I use the tablet or computer my shop already has?
Yes. Every plan runs on the devices you already have. If you need a receipt printer, cash drawer or barcode scanner, our team can supply and install them, quoted separately.
What do the plan prices cover?
Monthly prices include VAT. Plans differ by the number of branches, POS terminals and users — from Starter (1 branch, 1 terminal, 3 users) up to Ultra with everything unlimited. Hardware is quoted separately.
Can you migrate products from my current system?
Yes. We import your product list, prices, barcodes and member data from Excel or your previous system during installation.
Can it issue tax invoices?
Yes — both abbreviated and full tax invoices, with VAT calculated automatically.
Does it support multiple branches?
Yes — from the Standard plan (up to 5 branches) to Ultra with unlimited branches. Manage menus, prices and stock for every branch centrally, with branch-by-branch sales comparison.
What is the minimum rental term, and can I cancel?
The term depends on the plan and hardware you choose. Our team sets out every condition clearly in your quotation before you start, and you can upgrade your plan as the business grows.
Can you add custom features?
Yes. WiwatSoft is a software development team, so we can build business-specific features and integrate with your accounting, ERP or online store.
